Hairstyling is a perfect career for Shahin as it gives her the opportunity to fuse her love for people with her creative ambitions. As a young, career-driven woman, she found it natural to enter into Nursing where she could fulfill her love for helping people. Although she loved medicine, she knew her calling laid in the world of art and design, therefore she decided to travel to Europe and learn about hair. After working at a hair salon in Germany Shahin made her move back to the states, bringing her knowledge and passion to Parks Salon. In the business now for eleven years Shahin truly loves to make people feel good about themselves by bringing out their natural beauty. And Shahin's creativity doesn't end there, she is also a make-up artist, and is trained in facial waxing and threading.
